The day has arrived! All of the planning, searching, questioning and preparing is over. The teaser is ready to commence…
Espero!
I am so excited and happy! I have been waiting for this moment. It has been a long time since I have been able to shoot something that is worth while for me, (meaning something that is a little more artistic). I love working with actors! I love being on set and thinking critically when the heat is on.
It is only the first step of many for this project; but I couldn’t be more content right now.
When I was sitting around the table with my actors the other night I could only smile… We have managed to bring together an amazing cast. Today Nicolas, ( the main character), arrives from Mendoza. We will start off slow with some walking shots with him and Julian, (the stories antagonist/protagonist)… Tomorrow is the big scene with the soldiers and the family, that I mentioned before.
***We are so happy for the support that Cuadro Naccional has given us. The Police will be shutting down a street for us to film this scene. It involves soldiers coming to a house in the middle of the night and abducting a family of 4. We agreed with the Police that we needed someone around because we anticipate that it will get out of control. Our actors for this scene are intense!! It will be all improve and from what I have seen already; I will have plenty to work with.
Saturday we travel to Alvear, a nearby city, to shot in the old theater that was pictured in the last post. It is beautifully antique.
Sunday, sunset shots in Valle Grande. Trust me Valle Grande is amazing. I will post pics later. It is a huge lake surrounded by herculean cliffs!
¡Ciao Gentes Bellas!
